Family-Owned, Local Roots

National Design Mart is locally-owned and founded by the King family. Their dad, Dennis, first sold flooring in Akron in the 1960s. Now the second generation – Ryan, Chris and Laura – continue to serve longtime and new customers with the same passion.

The result? National Design Mart – a bigger, all-new, one-stop destination for Northeast Ohio customers who value wholesale prices on the world’s best brands of flooring, countertops and cabinets.

We’re not a chain. Our home office isn’t in some faraway city. The owners don’t live in some other state. In fact, the owners are probably in the same store where you are shopping… making that daily commitment to customers and community that they learned from their dad.
